A 1940s and 50s themed Summer Fayre staged in Langley Mill raised over £500 for two charitable concerns.
The event at the local Baptist Church included music from the two decades and a range of stalls and was a great success..
Writing to Erewash Sound, spokesperson Mandy Foster-Wright said: "Turn out was really good. Thank you so much for putting it on the air for us - we are so grateful - keep playing the great sounds - thanks to all the team."
Money raised will go to both the Church and the Strong Tower Charity - 'I Kenya'.
Langley Mill Baptist Church is on Station Road, NG16 4DU.
