A local woman who began her business as an on line Video channel is preparing to launch her second book.
Sarah-Jayne Fragola began her crocheting business as a YouTube channel in 2014 with the aim to inspire and teach others the art of crochet. She has since grown her business to reach over 1.6m subscribers non the platform alone, in addition to a vibrant social media following.
She has since inspired a community that shares a common interest in creativity, relaxation and joy through crochet.
On the late afternoon and early evening of Thursday 12th December, Sarah-Jayne will welcome enthusiasts and fans to the a venue in Long Eaton to launch her second book.
In an online post, Sarah said: "Having a strong work ethic from a young age, I began working in a Beauty Salon prior to starting College in order to give me a head start. After becoming a fully qualified Beauty Therapist and Sport and fitness therapist, I furthered my career working in one of the most prestigious spas in the UK.
"I have always had a thirst for knowledge and used my passion for this to work within various areas of the Beauty industry before training for my CertEd and teaching in a College environment.
"Once I had finished my University course, I began to fill my spare time with my love of crafts and started a blog in 2011 in order to document my creations and experiences."
