Having existed for around a decade, gathering information from many sources, the local Draycott and Church Wilne History Group holds an archive of photographs and written items.
Members have gathered knowledge from villagers, newspapers, the internet, books, and even chance conversations.
Over 35 booklets have also been produced covering very varied local topics and these books and booklets are available to buy.
The Group has instigated village displays, maps and more.
Each year, during the three days of August Bank Holiday, an exhibition is held in the local church hall displaying different findings from research, all of which are highlighted on display boards by group members.
