Police officers in Long Eaton are appealing for help to identify a thief and track down the bike stolen from outside a local leisure centre.
The man, pictured in a still from CCTV footage, stole the bike while it was chained up outside the West Park Leisure Centre in Long Eaton at 12:15pm on Monday 26th August.
The man pictured rode up to the building on the bike in the background of the picture – with white writing on its down tube – before cutting the lock and riding off on the bike pictured – a distinctive black Carrera mountain bike with yellow decals.
Anyone who recognises the man – or who has any information about the whereabouts of the bike now – is asked to contact the force using any of the below methods, including reference 24*509246:
