Police issue appeal after Morley shed break-in

Can you help Police officers to identify this bike thief?

CCTV images have captured the moment that a thief broke into a shed in Morley.

Police officers in Erewash are appealing for information after the incident between 2:00am and 2:30am on Sunday 2nd February.

Footage captures a man stealing a mountain bike, raising it up on its back wheel before riding off on it. The man wanted for questioning was wearing a thick khaki coloured coat or jacket and had a dark coloured hat and hood which appears to have been worn in a way so as to hide his identity.

He also appeared to be wearing light coloured leggings or jogging bottoms which were tucked into Wellington boots.

Anyone who recognises the man from the description, saw him or noticed anything suspicious in the area, or has any information with could help with enquiries is being asked contact Police by using any of the following contact routes quoting incident reference 25*65121.

You can also anonymously contact the independent charity CrimeStoppers, on 0800 555 111, or by visiting the CrimeStoppers website.
