A prolific female shoplifter has been arrested and charged with a number of shop thefts in the Long Eaton area.
Long Eaton based PCSO Cooper saw the wanted female whilst on patrol with PC Dugard on the Market Place on 10th July.
Straight away, the duo stopped the wanted female and PC Dugard carried out the arrest.
Commenting on the arrest Acting Sergeant Taylor said:"Both my officers carried out textbook policing, PCSO Cooper with local knowledge of the offender sighted the female; knowing that they were wanted. PC Dugard with support from PCSO Cooper apprehended and arrested the female. The message is loud and clear, if anyone wishes to steal and carry out crime in our community, we will do all we can to apprehend, arrest and prosecute them".
No further details were released by local Police officers.
