Two men have been charged in connection with a robbery in Long Eaton.
Police officers were called to a report of a robbery in Wilsthorpe Road just after 3:20am on Tuesday 5th September. The victim, a man in his 40s, alleges that he had his wallet, phone, and charger stolen during the incident.
Kurtis Berkin, of Coachways, Mapperley in Ilkeston has been charged with one count of robbery. Michael Phillips, of Barker Avenue North in Sandiacre, has also been charged with one count of robbery.
Both men, aged 26 and 30 respectfully, appeared at Southern Derbyshire Magistrates’ Court on Thursday 7th September and were released on conditional bail.
