=Residents of the Long Eaton area who are struggling with issues such as debt and bankruptcy are to be helped after a local charity extended coverage into the area. Citizens Advice Bureau, based in South Street, Ilkeston, has now opened an outreach office at Dovedale Primary School,
Dovedale Avenue in New Sawley, open between 9:30am and 12:00noon on the 1st, 3rd and 5th Tuesday of each month. The branch costs £100,000 a year to operate, funded by the Borough Council, the County Council and the Big Lottery Fund. One member of staff will operate at the New Sawley office, with appointments necessary to obtain advice. For more information, or to enquire about volunteering, contact.0870 121 2028.
